The fund provides production grants and facilitates the development of promising programme concepts. As well as assessing the funding requests it receives, the Dutch Cultural Media Fund develops talent and boosts quality through various events and activities such as assessments, workshops, debates, conferences and masterclasses.
The Performing Arts Fund (Fonds Podiumkunsten) operates on behalf of central government to support all forms of professional performing arts – including dance. The fund focuses particularly on internationalisation, cultural diversity, performing companies and performance venues, and audience appeal.
