In the wide landscape of a barren flatland, a man falls from the sky. He discovers the changing of the seasons, the confrontation with the masses and the relation between ‘us’ and the ‘stranger’. For a fleeting moment, there is a shared intake of breath, but in the end he is left in solitude.
“Point Taken gives you the opportunity to take a sudden leap into a totally different world. Dance forces the filmmaker to think very differently about the visual idiom; how can you best use movement to tell a story? This project was so inspiring – it opened up all the visual channels of the imagination.”
